Teaching courses in Music Technology including Electronic Music and Interactive Music Programming
Coordinating the Music Technology minor and advising students in the minor
Developing new courses and expanding the Music Technology minor into a major

Qualification

PhD in Music TechnologyCollege-level teaching experienceScholarly research recordCurriculum development experienceAdvising studentsTeaching skillsNavigating professional landscape

Required

A PhD in Music Technology or a related field at time of appointment. (ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to the start date)
College-level teaching experience in Music Technology
A record of relevant scholarly research, professional and/or creative activity

Preferred

Demonstrate excellent teaching skills in the context of an undergraduate curriculum, where students' skills are introductory
Have experience developing curricula and administering academic programs
Be positioned to help students navigate the professional landscape, and pursue internship and career opportunities in the region (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania)
