Responsibilities

Develop and lead the global publicity strategy for Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Video Games
Partner with senior leadership to align publicity campaigns with brand, franchise, marketing and business priorities
Serve as a trusted counselor to executives, creators, and studio partners on Communications opportunities and issues
Design innovative publicity campaigns for key product launches, video games, live events, and storytelling initiatives
Build breakthrough moments in culture through earned media, influencer engagement, and experiential opportunities
Ensure messaging consistency across consumer, trade, entertainment, and gaming press
Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier media across gaming, entertainment, lifestyle, business, and tech
Proactively pitch and secure feature stories, interviews, and reviews
Identify and engage influencers, content creators, and thought leaders to amplify brand visibility
Manage and mentor a high-performing publicity team
Oversee agency partners, setting clear goals and ensuring executional excellence
Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration
Provide counsel and develop response strategies for sensitive brand and community issues
Ensure risk assessments and media responses protect Hasbro’s reputation while honoring fan trust

Qualification

Required

15+ years of experience in publicity, communications, or PR with a proven track record in entertainment, gaming, or consumer brands
Deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem, including tabletop, video games, and fan-driven communities
Demonstrated success in leading high-profile, global publicity campaigns
Established media relationships across gaming, entertainment, lifestyle, and tech
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong leadership and people management experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and highly collaborative environment
Passion for Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and gaming culture
Familiarity with Hasbro brands and the broader toy/games/entertainment ecosystem
