Responsibilities

Performs inspection of parts for conformance with engineering or other process specifications or instructions

When applicable, use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

Calibrate and verify accuracy on precision gages

Must follow gauging part check procedure

Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters

Monitoring and testing product/batch quality

Needs working knowledge of GD&T and able to read part drawings

Utilizes performance, test, and inspection data to investigate causes for product nonconformance and field problems and plays an active role in problem resolution

Helps Identify areas of production/processes that can be improved upon

Required

High School diploma or GED

2+ years of experience in quality inspection experience in a factory environment

Preferred

3+ years of experience in quality in a manufacturing environment supporting industrial parts and product manufacturing

Experience operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), programming experience a plus

Good knowledge of precision measurement and test equipment

Interpret engineering prints/specifications and geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Knowledge of ISO Quality System requirements
