Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable batch data pipelines using SQLMesh (or equivalents such as DBT) for robust, reliable data delivery
Own our OLAP data storage strategy and implement performant solutions for data access
Develop and optimize relational data models to support analytical and operational needs
Implement and monitor data quality strategies to ensure accuracy and consistency of delivered datasets
Build internal platform tooling to streamline pipeline development, deployment, and monitoring
Partner closely with business and analytics teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective pipeline logic
Promote best practices in batch data engineering, data governance, and infrastructure optimizations
Qualification
Required
Experience designing and implementing batch data pipelines with SQLMesh, DBT, or similar frameworks
Strong skills in SQL and relational data modeling concepts
Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or other languages used for pipeline orchestration and platform tooling
Familiarity with data quality approaches and monitoring in modern data platforms
Collaborative mindset with ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define logic
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to translate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences
