Responsibilities

Must be a US Citizen
Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
Must have at least five (05) years of direct, hands-on experience providing assistance to users in an IT customer service capacity
Must have at least five (05) years of experience working on an IT/software program that utilizes complex equipment/systems (ex. Network Switches, Routers, LANs, & cabling, Windows/Linux operating systems, VMware, etc.)
Must have experience installing, updating, and upgrading Linux Operating Systems (OS)
Must have experience with utilities used to manage Linux OS disk file systems
Must have experience analyzing and implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements in Linux OS
Must have experience with utilities used to create and configure network connections in Linux OS
Must have experience implementing Windows Active Directory User Authentication in Linux OS
Must be proficient in reading and modifying User/Group permissions in Linux OS
Must be proficient in reading, analyzing, and troubleshooting errors within Linux OS
Must have experience with IT system optimization, monitoring, and technical set-up and troubleshooting
Must have experience with Data Center design and configuration (e.g. rack and stack, power, placement, etc.)
Must have experience gathering data for and documenting technical processes
Must have experience documenting IT issues and providing detailed and comprehensive status reports and follow-ups
Must have experience Analyzing and addressing IAVAs/CVEs (response and remediation, system security scans, extending IAVA patches and security updates on IT and network systems, etc)
Must be committed to adopting and adhering to best practices including compliance with maintenance windows and change control procedures
Must possess strong analytic abilities and must be meticulous and careful in their work
Must be an independent thinker capable of working independently as well as within a team
Must be able to respond to emergency system administration, operations, and maintenance problems, on a limited as-needed on-call basis
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time to local program locations (not overnight). Additional travel to CONUS and OCONUS location(s) may also be required (overnight)

Preferred

BS degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with security standards, software architectures, and Network security technologies (Multiple Domain, PKI, SSP, Vulnerability Assessment, etc.)
Experience working with Enterprise Domain Services
Experience building and deploying Virtual Machines within an On-Premises Data Center
Experience with scripting and/or automation tools
Experience reading, analyzing, and addressing security vulnerabilities discovered from automated scanning tools
Experience supporting a large, complex software configuration management and development program
Experience working in an Agile Development Environment or on an Agile Team
