Asset and Fleet Administrator
NEOGOV is seeking an Asset and Fleet Administrator to oversee the Asset Management Program, Fleet Operations, and Fuel Operations for the Town of Addison. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating activities, and providing technical assistance to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
Provides technical assistance and information to the department director, consultants, developers, citizens, and Town staff on matters regarding asset management, fleet operations, and fueling operations to ensure conformance with Town standards and state/national regulations
Serves as a liaison with vendors, contractors, consultants; resolve issues between parties
Manage all aspects of assigned programs performed by employees and/or contractors to ensure compliance and proper performance
Manages the specifications, design, and purchase of vehicles and major equipment
Manages and monitors the daily activities of crucial programs and provides project status updates
Manages software and databases for the Town’s assets, fleet operations, and fuel system. Uses this data to create and issue reports, make decisions and recommendations, and efficiently and effectively manage these programs
Maintains project quality assurance by reviewing and interpreting documents, specifications, and inspection reports, and acting as a liaison with contractors and other entities as assigned
Assists with administration of contracts by conducting meetings, reviewing periodic contractor pay applications, administrating change orders and negotiating change order prices
Manages all phases of assigned programs and projects
Reviews and negotiates scopes of work, contracts, invoices, pay estimates and change orders
Responds to a broad range of requests for information, service, concerns, or complaints from citizens, businesses, governmental agencies, and/or other interested parties regarding a variety of program and project related issues. Makes recommendations for solutions based on research findings
Proactive communication and professional project updates and presentations to all stakeholders; implement, manage, and improve information and project management systems as required
May be asked to perform additional job duties that are directly, indirectly, or completely unrelated to normal job functions in the course of presenting certain Town special events

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business or related field
Five (5) years of project management experience
Must complete a State of Texas approved Underground Storage Tank Classes A, B, and C within six (6) months of appointment
Safe driving record and valid Texas Driver's License
Clear Criminal Background check and pre-employment drug screen
Knowledge of methods and practices used in the maintenance, repair, and operations of vehicles and major equipment
Knowledge of applicable local, State, and Federal laws, codes, regulations, and ordinances
Knowledge of budgeting and purchasing procedures and processes
Knowledge of work safety policies, procedures, and practices
Knowledge of research techniques, statistical methodology, and report writing
Knowledge of facility maintenance and management techniques
Knowledge of municipal government functions, policies, and administrative procedures
Skilled in planning and prioritizing projects from start to finish (project management)
Skilled in compiling accurate and detailed analytical information, interpreting the data to formulate a recommendation
Skilled in problem solving on issues that arise with projects, contractors and within the operation of the Department
Skilled in performing a variety of duties on behalf of the Director with minimal supervision
Skilled in analyzing complex situations accurately and developing a recommended course of action
Skilled in evaluating policies and procedures and recommending improvements and efficiencies
Skilled in preparing clear and concise reports
Skilled in accurately compiling and tracking detailed information and statistics on assets
Skilled in making presentations to the City Council or other groups
Working efficiently to meet deadlines
Ability to interpret technical and numerical information
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Addison participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) with a 7% employee contribution with 14% Town contribution at retirement. Fully vested after 5 years.

Tuition reimbursement program at 50% of tuition cost.
