Director/ExecutiveNational Legal Aid & Defender Association is a large legal aid organization in Virginia, and they are seeking a full-time Director of Development. The Director will develop and execute a coordinated fundraising strategy, increase and diversify existing fundraising programs, and support relationships with financial supporters to enhance fundraising success.

Responsibilities
Develops and executes a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including, but not limited to, identification, attraction, and retention of major donors for a multi-year campaign
Designs and implements fundraising programs and events
Researches potential donors and contacts
Coordinates meetings with donors and potential donors of LSNV, including necessary follow-up
Coordinates and enlists volunteers for “friend-raising” events
Works closely with LSNV’s Executive Director, staff, Board of Directors, and campaign committee members to support fundraising efforts
Creates and disseminates electronic and print fundraising and promotional materials (e.g., brochures, newsletters, social media posts, annual reports, etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned

Required
