Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage the commercialization potential and processing of assigned disclosures and inventions
Engage and consult with Sr. Licensing managers and Licensing Directors when appropriate
Responsible for the various stages of evaluation, patent prosecution and licensing of the assigned projects
Negotiate agreements and other commercialization efforts
Act as licensing team lead, utilizing strong leadership qualities, team management and interpersonal skills
Orient existing research and clinical departments and outside companies to Mayo Clinic Ventures
Interact with inventors, patent attorneys and licensees
