They are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics and Management specializing in Financial Economics, with responsibilities including teaching undergraduate courses and contributing to the department's academic mission.

Responsibilities
Teach courses in financial economics, financial and macroeconomic crises, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance
Contribute to teaching economics and finance core courses
Engage in professional development and research with undergraduate students
Teach six courses per year, in addition to a half-credit course taught every third year during January or May term
Qualification
Required
A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting
Evidence of effective and inclusive teaching
Candidates must be able to contribute to teaching economics and finance core courses (i.e., Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Introduction to Economics, Introduction to Econometrics, Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, and Senior Seminar)
Application materials should provide evidence of a commitment to successfully fostering and engaging with a diversity of ideas and experiences to create an inclusive environment in the classroom and at the University
Preferred
Ph.D. (completed by August 2026) in economics, finance, or a related field
ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor
Candidates who can teach courses in one or more of the following areas: financial economics, financial and macroeconomic crises, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance
Candidates with additional teaching interests in the following areas: corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, valuation, portfolio management, fintech, venture capital and entrepreneurial finance
