RF EEE Component Engineer I/II
Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services and spacecraft design. The RF EEE Component Engineer is responsible for managing the component lifecycle, evaluating new parts, and collaborating with suppliers and engineers to ensure component reliability for RF products.

Responsibilities
Component lifecycle management including component onboarding (e.g. footprint / part number creation), library management, and obsolescence review
Lab component and equipment management for the RF design team
Evaluate designs for component reliability, industry standards compliance, and mission usage
Work with supply chain to evaluate part availability and lead times
Support component failure analyses and risk assessments
Interface with suppliers, supply chain, design engineers, production/manufacturing, and mission assurance/quality
Develop RF design experience including board & harness design
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, RF communications; or other engineering degree
Experience in electrical design
Experience with component screening, testing, and qualification
U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements
Preferred
Familiarity with space component standards
Hands-on lab experience including testing and soldering
Familiarity with component procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and detail-oriented
