Responsibilities
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure to meet mission requirements
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineers, to deliver robust infrastructure solutions
Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and CDK
Strengthening system security will be a key focus, achieved by implementing DISA STIGs, conducting regular vulnerability assessments, and remediating identified risks
You will also support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve system accreditation and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards
Your responsibilities will include managing containerized environments, monitoring system performance, and providing support for complex technical issues
You will also author and maintain technical documentation, including system design artifacts, standard operating procedures, and project plans
Finally, you will evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance operational capabilities, ensuring that systems remain cutting-edge and mission-ready
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
7 years of IT engineering experience
Proficiency in AWS or Azure configurations and deployments
Experience preparing reports on security vulnerabilities, incidents, and risk management activities
Active TS/SCI clearance required
Preferred
Master's degree
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF, DISA STIGs, and vulnerability management tools like Nessus
Security+ CE or ability to obtain within 30 days
AWS/Azure certifications
