Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines insurance, responding to clients concerns with professionalism and empathy
Process policy changes and additions to meet clients' evolving coverage needs
Assist clients with insurance policy renewals and rewrites
Obtain quotes and coverage options for new policies and policy amendments based on client's needs
Review policy with clients
Handle policy cancellations and reinstatements while following company guidelines and regulations
Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the claims process, liaising with the claims department as needed
Maintain accurate data entry in our management system
Educate clients on various commercial insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in commercial insurance to enhance knowledge and service delivery

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative in a commercial lines insurance agency or related industry
Thorough understanding of commercial insurance products
Familiarity with insurance policy terms, coverage types, and industry regulations
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and insurance carriers
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address client concerns with empathy and professionalism
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
Proficient computer skills, including experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Epic (Applied Systems) preferred
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
Active 4-40, 20-44, 2-20 License
