Responsibilities
Become a subject matter expert in UWM’s applications, automated testing tools and testing/defect management
Design, build and manage automated test frameworks and scripts
Actively participate in UWM’s Agile culture and framework (i.e., Continuous Improvement Culture, Scrum and Kanban Frameworks)
Carry out functional and non-functional testing, including web accessibility, product app security, server-side load and performance, and client-side page speed
Review results of automated tests and taking appropriate action (i.e., file defects, updating test code/data/configuration, etc.)
Ensure that any areas not covered by automated tests are validated via alternate mechanisms
Improve product and code testability by influencing design at the architecture phase
Collaborate with other functions, including product management, product development and designers
Plan, define and execute test strategies in a multi-screen, multi-platform web application environment, and ensuring they are released to production with high quality
Communicate and collaborate within your team and the IT team as a whole
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in software testing
Strong coding skills, in one or more programming languages such as C# and/or Python
Experience with implementing Performance and API automation
Experience defining test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders
Experienced with Thunder client. RestSharp, K6 and/or JMeter
Experience with Integration and Mutation Testing
Proficiency with relational databases
Experience with non-functional testing
Highly collaborative mindset and a good team player
Ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
Onsite, full-time attendance
Computer-related degree or equivalent experience
Preferred
Extensive experience in Python
Proficiency in baseline testing
Expertise in Dynatrace, Splunk or any monitoring
Mobile automation tools such as XCTest, Espresso and Applitools
Mortgage knowledge or experience
