Altumint is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to leadership and business units. This role focuses on providing insights that influence decision-making and drive operational efficiency while collaborating closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts in partnership with department leaders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Monitor, analyze, and report on financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities

Conduct rigorous monthly variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and historical performance

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board, distilling complex financial information into clear, strategic insights

Design, build, and maintain advanced financial models to support scenario planning, strategic initiatives, and growth projections

Provide data-driven recommendations to inform key business decisions and support long-term planning

Partner with operations, sales, engineering, and other departments to provide financial guidance, develop meaningful KPIs, and support operational decision-making

Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and business objectives

Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, support M&A due diligence, and participate in special projects as assigned

Occasional travel (once per quarter) to Altumint’s Lanham, MD headquarters for in-person collaboration and strategic planning sessions
