Republican Jobs is leading the search for a Senior Litigation Counsel to join a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing liberty, limited government, and individual rights. The role involves initiating and litigating cases, providing legal support for public policy initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to advance litigation objectives.

Political Organization

Responsibilities

Initiate and litigate cases in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies defending individual and constitutional rights

Draft and file motions, briefs, and legal opinions on matters involving the First Amendment, open government, and civil rights

Provide legal support for the organization’s public policy and outreach initiatives

Develop and maintain relationships with allied legal organizations and attorneys

Represent the organization through public speaking, media appearances, and written commentary

Collaborate with internal teams to advance strategic litigation and reform objectives

Required

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (willingness to obtain admission in additional states as needed)

Minimum of five years of substantive litigation experience, including significant courtroom and writing experience

Proven experience designing, managing, and executing a litigation program or overseeing complex multi-case dockets

Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills

Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated entrepreneurial work ethic

Commitment to principles of liberty, limited government, and individual rights
