Managing a broad range of data, analysis and modeling responsibilities across the American Funds Service Group
Working with cross functional teams to deliver strategic and operational outcomes
Leveraging research, statistical analysis and forecasting to provide analytical insights and make recommendations to facilitate strategic and operational decisions
Taking a technical lead and facilitating discussions with senior business leaders to define requirements and produce solutions to complex business questions/challenges independently
Navigating ambiguity and complexities, using scenario planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Serving as primary or backup for critical deliverables with a high level of reliability
Presenting complex analysis and data driven recommendations and direct feedback in a clear and concise manner
Using insights to influence groups and senior associates
Working with multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of analytics experience and are able to operate with a strong level of autonomy
Able to take a technical lead and facilitate discussions with senior business leaders to define requirements and produce solutions to complex business questions / challenges independently
Comfortably navigate ambiguity and complexities, using scenario planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Able to serve as primary or backup for critical deliverables with a high level of reliability
Skilled communicator, able to present complex analysis and data driven recommendations and direct feedback in a clear and concise manner
Solid background in business intelligence, reporting, and data transformation, using tools like Excel, SQL, R-studio, Tableau or Python
Value authenticity, respect, and engagement, and can use insights to influence groups and senior associates
Comfortable working with multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholders
