Inside Sales Representative
Applied Industrial Technologies is a leading value-added distributor and technical solutions provider. The Inside Sales Representative will establish and expand relationships with customers, provide technical assistance, and contribute to customer satisfaction and sales results.
Wholesale
Responsibilities
Develop thorough technical understanding of products and applications
Provide solutions to customer’s applications
Provide technical support to sales team and customer base for daily requirements as well as project opportunities
Assist customers with material specification, take-off & selection
Determine pricing and margins. Prepare quotations, process orders, follow order to ensure critical delivery dates are met
Work with procurement and finance departments as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate Degree required
Excellent internal & external communication and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and task management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Able to tackle multiple projects while being organized, detail, and deadline oriented
Candidates must be able to work within a team organization, multi-task, meet deadlines
Preferred
Previous experience with Prophet21 (P21) or similar CRM/ERP systems
