Strategic Impact Associate

Zeta is dedicated to transforming public education in New York City, seeking a Strategic Impact Associate to support the growth of their Strategic Impact department. The role involves designing and launching improvement projects, collaborating with leadership, and supporting fundraising efforts to enhance Zeta’s impact on education.

Responsibilities

Identify, design, and launch improvement projects across the Strategic Impact department to enable Zeta’s rapid growth
Build and codify systems, processes, and structures to support the work and functions of Zeta’s Strategic Impact team
Collaborate with the CEO, COO, Director of Strategic Impact, and Manager of Strategic Impact in growing, managing, and engaging Zeta’s Board of Directors and Board of Trustees through executing excellent board meetings, board communications, and events
Support Zeta’s fundraising efforts by developing donor materials, scaling up a donor CRM, and planning/managing donor events in close collaboration with the CEO, Director of Strategic Impact, and Director of Development
Collaborate and partner with all teams across the network on a variety of projects, initiatives, events, and more
Wear multiple hats as a part of a lean scale-up team, supporting the work of others on the team and taking on new projects and tasks as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of professional experience
Excellent communication skills with proven experience in storylining and creating compelling and visually appealing presentations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
Superb organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Comfort in learning new tools and platforms and eagerness to learn and grow

Preferred

1-2 years of Management consulting experience strongly preferred
Experience in charter schooling or other mission-driven, fast-growth organizations preferred, but not required
