Lateral Conflicts Analyst
Integr8staff, llc. is seeking a Lateral Conflicts Analyst to work under the Conflicts & Laterals Manager and in-house General Counsel. The role involves analyzing potential conflicts of interest related to matter intake and lateral hiring, conducting research, and collaborating with attorneys to resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities
Analyze potential conflicts of interest for further review/resolution by Manager of Lateral Conflicts and in-house attorneys
Conduct factual research using internal and external resources, which may include researching corporate relationships (using LexisNexis, D&B, web publications and similar public databases) and discussions with attorneys and/or legal support staff to gather information and/or clarification regarding a party or matter
Perform conflicts research, database maintenance, data entry, and special projects, as needed
Respond to inquiries timely and effectively
Collaborate with lateral attorneys in General Counsel to research, analyze, resolve conflicts of interest
Review lateral candidate conflict submissions and intake forms and ensure completeness and accuracy
Review searches and reports for clients, matters, lateral attorney candidates, using the Firm’s conflicts and intake databases
Articulate in writing the key findings in the form of a summary or report
Monitor and address all incoming email to shared department email inbox for urgent requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years within lateral conflicts administration, clearing/resolving conflicts at a mid-to-large law firm
Experience with clearing/resolving conflicts (i.e. reviewing engagement letters and contacting partners)
Experience with database search systems such as Elegrity (now iManage), E-VALUATE LegalKey, Intapp, or similar Conflicts administration software
Basic typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
Proficiency with Office Suite; Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to compile, review, filter, synthesize, and interpret
Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and make decisions when appropriate
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the rules of conduct regarding conflicts of interest
Strong research skills using internal and external resources
Proven aptitude to quickly learn new applications
Organizational skills, including the ability to produce high quality work with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to go into the office on an as-needed basis
Able to work overtime as needed
