Energy Engineering Analyst

RaceTrac is focused on promoting sustainability and long-term profitability through effective energy management initiatives. The Energy Engineering Analyst will be responsible for managing energy efficiency projects, overseeing rebate programs, and engaging with stakeholders to implement impactful energy solutions.

Responsibilities

Manages all rebate program activities, including identification, energy modeling, application processing, incentive validation, and tracking
Develops, manages, and maintains database of open utility rebate programs in RaceTrac’s markets
Effectively manages the commissioning program and the key relationship with the third-party vendor
Develops the business case for various energy and sustainability initiatives, including efficiency specification upgrades that are supported by current incentive availability
Tests, implements, and scales initiatives using project management methodology
Oversees daily operations of programs related to energy, such as building management systems to maximize program success
Identifies potential operational risks and provides mitigation solution options
Creates and delivers presentations to internal stakeholders regarding energy and sustainability initiatives
Assists in managing energy and sustainability-related vendor and peer group relationships

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; a focus on engineering or energy management
1-3 years' experience in energy management, energy efficiency, project management, and engineering
Understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, Commercial Kitchen and Food & Beverage Equipment, Utilities, Building/Energy Management and building specifications
Familiarity with the overall field of sustainability including but not limited to various initiatives, technologies, and regulations
Proven success in driving consensus while evaluating multiple priorities with other stakeholders or business units
Proficiency with MS Office Suite required (Expert in MS Excel preferred)
