Responsibilities

Overseeing the tax reclaim process of the Fidelity retail and institutional funds
Monitoring operational controls
Oversight of the tax reclaim and reconciliation operations teams
Coordinate the activities of third-party service providers
Think and work across Fidelity
Partnering with Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations and with third-party service providers that assist with tax reclaims
Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies for the mutual funds and alternative investment products
Assist in the evaluation of tax implications of complex securities and complex events impacting the funds
Participation in industry-wide meetings and conferences is also encouraged

Required

Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 8 years industry or equivalent experience, including experience with tax reclaims
Excellent analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to accuracy, quality and completion of tasks
Excellent organizational and project/process and relationship management skills
Technical knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, Tax Treaties and other Tax Authority related to mutual funds and/or alternative investment products
Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to apply sound judgment to spot issues, assess risks, and identify items requiring attention
Unwavering commitment to accuracy, quality, and completion of tasks
Possess excellent organizational, operations, and project/process management skills
Possess strong research and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/initiatives and handle time-sensitive activities
