Assessment and implementation of new technologies
Providing solutions in long-term perspective on the relationship of database technology to the business opportunities
Implementing effective DBMS security practices
Coordinating issues with Security and Server support teams

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or IT related field is required
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL server and associated tools in a multiple database environment
Experience and good understanding with, server-client computing and relational database environments
Experience in relational database technology, Netezza preferred
Experience with Stored Procedures and SQL including DDL, DML, or DCL
Experience with Microsoft SQL server utilities and tools including Backup Copy, Recovery and performance tuning preferred
Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques
Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices

Preferred

Experience in relational database technology, Netezza preferred
Experience with Microsoft SQL server utilities and tools including Backup Copy, Recovery and performance tuning preferred
Nice to Have: Exposure to database modeling and design techniques
