Responsibilities

Service and maintain business equipment such as: warewash equipment, dish machines, floor care and carpet care equipment

Direct contact and communication with customers

Responsible for communication with customers on technical information

Continually seek new methods and techniques for repairing and installing equipment

Test new equipment and ensure functionality

Detect malfunctions and repair machines immediately

Keep records and document service calls and parts used

Maintain inventory

Complete the necessary paperwork for billing manufacturers for services provided as well as warranty work

Help determine service call and installation priorities

Required

High School diploma and/or Certificate from a Vocational / Technical school

1+ years of mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience

Computer literate with basic knowledge of networking

Electronic & mechanical experience/aptitude

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and efficiently maintain the proper functionality of equipment

Sound understanding of technical aspects of the equipment, including the ability to detect malfunctions

Ability to know and understand warranty processes

Ability to maintain a clean driver's license and drive safely and courteously in all kinds of weather and road conditions

An ability and willingness to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, including performing pre-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance concerns

Excellent communication skills

A team player with a positive attitude

Strong focus on customer service

Able to work independently at customer sites

Demonstrated ability to handle and solve challenges and demonstrate initiative
