Composites Technician
Arcboatcompany is focused on electrifying waterborne vessels, starting with electric water sport boats. They are seeking a Composites Technician to manufacture composite structures, perform inspections, and contribute to improving workshop standards in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities
Manufacturing of composite (carbon & fiberglass) structures
Performing component assembly inspections and completing appropriate documentation
Advising on the design of assemblies, components, and testing
Contributing to improving workshop standards, protocols, and processes
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and output
Qualification
Required
Proficiency using mechanical and electric hand tools
Extensive experience in manufacturing, inspecting and repairing composite (carbon & fiberglass) structures
Capable of drilling, reaming and countersinking
Capable of machining & trimming composites
Experience vacuum bagging parts for resin infusion, room temperature cures and debulks
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and product data sheets
Ability to stand 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
High school degree or GED certification
Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Experience with welding, composites, or interiors
Comfortable pushing an intense but sustainable pace
Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
