Responsibilities

Develop direction and utilization protocol to leverage benefits from BAS and support Facilities objectives to improve quality, service timeliness (SLA) and reduce cost
Provide direction for the BAS retrofit program. Deliver expected financial benefits and outcomes
Collaborate with Information Technology and External Partners to redesign and continuously improve the BAS platform and leverage decision making value from data gathered. Lead cross-functional teams, including Retail Fuel, Fuel Supply, external vendors, Contact Center and QA to achieve corporate objectives
Manage the development of scripts and the performance of system level testing for new features, enhancements, upgrades and new technology to support/improve the systems and processes
Manage vendor performance and utilization of facilities systems in order to ensure they provide timely cost-effective service. Take corrective action if service levels are not meeting expectations. Negotiate contracts to obtain the best pricing and service. Track work order cost and count, ensure systems are working properly through investigation of work and follow up with vendor
Facilitate requirements gathering tasks. Analyze requirements for system enhancements and modifications. Facilitate the documentation of business requirements. Research and analyze options; recommend solutions and write functional specifications
Manage field and office resources to ensure proper and cost effective system function
Collaborate with BAS Integrator and manage them to make adjustments to maximize system settings in order to assist issue resolution prior to dispatch
Manage relationships and communication plans with external vendors, developers and internal Wawa departments (Contact Center, M&M, Facilities, Retail Implementation, Construction and Fuel Supply). Support understanding and utilization of BAS generated data to improve business operations
Develop external peer network and research new technology feasibility
Collaborate with the Manager of Facilities Technology & Processes to direct and manage resources to analyze and fully utilize the information gathered by BAS. Work with analysts to communicate results with summary and recommendations on a periodic basis, or as requested
Provide overall direction and support for team and monitor and assess individual work in accordance with high standards of excellence. Provide feedback, coaching, support, opportunities for development, complete performance appraisals, take corrective action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, and/or Science or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
6+ years of supervisory experience within a related technical discipline
Minimum three (3) years of experience with building, mechanical and electrical systems with understanding of building equipment control and the ability to understand blue prints and technical drawings
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and corporate software packages (SAP)
Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions
Excellent leadership skills
Ability to manage budget and external vendor network
Periodic overnight travel required
24/7 on call support, based on business needs
