Responsibilities
Preparing lifecycle analyses, carbon accounting, emission inventories and permit applications
Conducting engineering feasibility analyses
Developing compliance and contingency plans
Supporting routine compliance reporting under federal, state, and local regulations
Conducting compliance assessments and audits for client operations
Qualification
Required
BS in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent
Demonstrate a solid understanding of engineering principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful decision making
Ability to work independently
Research and propose solutions to complex technical and regulatory challenges
Engage efficiently with colleagues and senior staff
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Preferred
Candidates with a Masters are encouraged to apply
Candidates with strong analytical skills using Excel and other platforms are encouraged to apply
Some regulatory experience preferred (agency, industry or consulting)
Internships and other related work experience are a plus
