Responsibilities
Lead project coordination for the Trapeze-to-HASTUS migration supporting Bus and Rail daily operations
Attend Train-the-Trainer sessions for Phase 2 Rail + MVP Bus Daily Operations & Bidding
Learn HASTUS functionalities to provide ongoing support to Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations
Collaborate with subject matter experts, Digital Modernization, and HR/Payroll to identify training needs
Develop and deliver training materials , including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and instructional videos
Coordinate training sessions across 10 Rail Divisions and 9 Bus Divisions
Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics
Maintain training documentation and ensure alignment with WMATA’s operational standards
Provide status updates, risk tracking, and coordination of technical deliverables within project timelines
Communicate technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to diverse audiences
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Training Coordinator in large-scale IT or operations system implementations
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and change management principles
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver IT training programs (classroom, video, CBT, or e-learning)
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to learn and apply new software tools quickly and effectively
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
Preferred
Familiarity with transit scheduling systems (e.g., HASTUS, Trapeze) preferred
Experience in public transit operations or transportation scheduling systems
Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM) or Instructional Design certification (e.g., ATD, CompTIA CTT+)
Familiarity with HASTUS modules, data workflows, or system integrations
