They are seeking an Experimental Test Physicist to support test operations and development activities in superconducting electronics test environments, working alongside a team of physicists and engineers.

Responsibilities
Support test operations and test development activities by ensuring that the labs and systems are test ready, specifically for superconducting electronics test environments
Operate a test platform in a laboratory setting with the goal of collecting high quality data
Push the capabilities of the test platform hardware and software to meet the needs of our customers
Qualification
Required
Completed Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of relevant technical experience; Completed Master's degree in a STEM field with 6+ months of relevant technical experience
Experience supporting the general upkeep of electrical test labs and systems
Hands-on experience with common laboratory hardware, such as voltage and current supplies, oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, or RF sources
Experience with writing MATLAB and/or Python code for either interfacing with equipment or analyzing data
Proficiency in basic circuit analysis and troubleshooting
Working in a team environment to tackle challenging problems
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Candidate Must be a U.S. Citizen
Clearance: Candidate must be able to maintain a US Government security clearance
Preferred
Familiarity working with cryogens, Liquid Helium and Nitrogen
Experience interfacing with test lab equipment through custom software
Experience working with superconducting electronics
Experience working with digital signal processing
Experience writing in a version-controlled, OOP-based codebase in Python or MATLAB
Strong analytic skills and familiarity in performing statistical analysis
Ability to adjust to changing priorities and requirements
Experience with diverse teams tackling large, challenging issues
Active US Government security clearance
