Responsibilities

As part of the Sentinel AVE Loads & Environments team, your technical expertise and analytical prowess will play a vital role in thermal analysis, including Thermal Protection System (TPS) design/sizing, Transient Heat Transfer Simulations, and Active Cooling Analysis. This position invites a forward-thinking professional who is eager to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions that advance the future of thermodynamics for the Sentinel Program

Required

Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant technical field

Engineer Structural : 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 2 Years with Masters

Principal Engineer Structural : 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines (e.g. systems engineering, aerodynamics, stress analysis, design, test) in a highly integrated team environment

Experience in programming and use of MATLAB (or equivalent) for analysis and data manipulation

Experience with finite element method or finite difference method thermal analysis software (Thermal Desktop, Ansys, etc)

Experience in the thermal analysis of aerospace systems

Basic knowledge of Heat Transfer methods and principles

Experience modeling with commercial finite element modeling software (Femap/Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, etc)

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
