Responsibilities

Perform system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for end-to-end systems
Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into comprehensive system solutions
Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports, including functional testing and checkout
Analyze and troubleshoot anomalous behavior in hardware and software systems
Integrating 3rd party software with the in-house development software
Perform Information Assurance activities, such as Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) application, executing and analyzing scans
Utilize and manage tools such as Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word), and docker-based software installations

Required

Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's; 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Must be capable of determining how best to integrate and test software changes in a complex system of services to include mapping requirements to test procedures
Must understand Agile processes and scrum
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Full-Scope Polygraph at time of application

Preferred

Understanding of basic docker concepts
Proficient in Kubernetes: ability to debug services that run in cluster through command line and/or rancher
Experience with deploying services via Helm
Experience with deploying services via Helmfile
Proficient with using Git for source code management
Ability to debug and problem solve when things don't work out of the box
Experience working in a cross-functional agile team
Experience building and maintaining configuration management documentation
Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
Key Skills for Writing Test Procedure Documentation
Good Customer interaction and presentation skills
Ability to be the managerial/lead backup
