They are seeking a Systems Engineering Lead responsible for system engineering on new and ongoing satellite ground systems and space operations efforts, leading a team to develop requirements, concepts, and prototypes. Responsibilities

Work closely with Program leadership to ensure all System Engineering requirements are met and tracked using engineering tools such as JAMA, CMPro, and Model Based Engineering (MBSE) tools (Cameo, Enterprise Architect)

Lead/Conduct studies and capture technical analysis

Support all required IPTs, TEMs, WGs and Ad hoc meetings

Participate in CDRLs generation and deliveries

Provide technical advice to our customers on system architectures design

Participate in requirement’s decomposition and analysis

Support Reliability analysis

Develop and deliver effective customer presentations (design reviews, status reports, kickoff meetings, support test plans) demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably at a system level (SRR, PDR, CDR, GR)

Travel as necessary to attend conferences and customer meetings

Required

10+ years engineering

BS in SE, CS, EE, ME, or other engineering equivalent

Support programs through SRR, PDR, CDR or equivalent design reviews

Experience with satellite ground systems

Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities to include virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization (CNFs)

Candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable with supporting multiple groups of developers, engineers, and testers

Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate technical concepts orally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer and users

Working knowledge of space systems, including satellite ground systems

Ground Entry Point (GEP) Design, Implementation, and verification experience

Experience with military space operations

Experience leading a team conducting MBSE modeling of a system of systems

Must currently have a Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
