This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the Environmental-Industrial Waste Management Industry and Process Safety Management principles while assisting with various responsibilities including document control and project management.

Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Mechanical Integrity Program
Learn about corrosion mechanisms and participate in corrosion monitoring and mitigation activities
Gain exposure to Process Safety Management (PSM) principles, including the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) process, Management of Change (MOCs), Operating Procedures, Incident Investigation, and other elements of PSM
Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including the pillars of Process Safety Management (PSM)

Qualification

Required

Proficiency in CAD or similar software for updating and modifying engineering drawings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Highly motivated and self-starter with the ability to work independently
Proficient in MS Office Suite – Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization written and verbally
Lift to 50lbs, climb ladders, stoop, bend, stand for prolonged periods, exposed to various weather conditions and work at heights

Preferred

Enrolled in a Bachelor Engineering Program (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial) in your Junior, Senior years, or recent graduate preferred
Knowledge of P&IDs and piping ISOs preferred
