Responsibilities

Assist in assembling and wiring industrial control panels for electrical substations
Learn and apply wire cutting, crimping, and routing best practices using Siemens standards
Support panel testing and verification, including electrical safety checks, continuity testing, and documentation
Gain exposure to fiber optic and Ethernet testing used in modern protection and automation systems
Participate in real-world Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) with customers and Siemens engineers
Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers to learn how protection relays and automation devices integrate into substation applications

Required

Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related program (Associate level)
In your final year or approaching graduation (eligible to work at least 20 hours/week)
Interested in learning how power systems, protection relays, and automation panels work together
Demonstrated attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
