Responsibilities
You will work with existing and new buildings, waterproofing, building envelope, and other architectural elements
You get excited about discovering what went wrong from an architectural standpoint, and, using your investigative mind, proposing ways to fix the problem
Your day-to-day will consist of technical detailing; review, analysis, and application of building codes and industry standards; cause and origin assessments; testing protocols; and assessment of existing building problems, big and small
You will co-lead a team of other design team members to help mentor and guide them
Qualification
Required
Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
NCARB certified, Licensed Architect desired, Licensed in California a plus
8 to 15 years of Architectural experience involving design development and construction administration phases
Experience with detailing building envelope & waterproofing projects with an investigative and inquisitive personality
Willing and capable of some occasional travel when needed
Proficient in Sketchup, Bluebeam Studio and practical experience with Revit a plus
