Responsibilities
Support Project Manager with Design of construction documents
Under close supervision, completes Civil Engineering projects that require the use of multiple surveying techniques, models, and construction plans. Prepares engineering design documents, confirms project specifications, inspects construction sites, calculate quantities, and verifies calculations to facilitate construction projects
Completes routine Civil Engineering procedures, including, but not limited to, the preparation of site plans, utility plans, erosion control plans, and assists with the design and drafting of stormwater management
Performs onsite investigation, documentation, and record drawing condition reviews
Documents work schedule, completion dates, and coordinates with Project Manager on workload projections and availability
Demonstrates a culture of learning, integrity, and initiative in day-to-day interactions. Maintains a safe work environment
Communicate with team member and city officials
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Environmental Engineering for an accredited university or college
0-3 Year of experience in the industry
Engineering in Training certification must be obtained within 6 months of day of hire
Proficient in Microsoft office
Basic familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D design software
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Working knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint applications
Ability to travel
