PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (ORDANANCE)

Responsibilities
You will prepare, estimate and develop schedules for efficient storage, movement, ship loading and offloading of ammunition and explosives
You will prepare, review, issue and follow up on detailed job orders and schedules outlining the worksite, work methods and procedures, required work crew and appropriate sequence of operations
You will prepare cost estimates of specific ship operations as required for Navy or private shipping activities
You will originate correspondence concerning estimates and technical information involving all aspects of planning and scheduling
Qualification

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing storage and distribution plans and detailed planning for conventional ammunition, missile and Tomahawk and components
Experience preparing and reviewing detailed job orders and schedules including planning and revising receipts, storage and issue programs
Experience maintaining manpower requirements and determines daily scheduled operations
Experience scheduling and maintaining control of all F/R ammunition
