They are seeking an entry-level Metrology Equipment Engineer to support 200mm wafer fabrication in Burlington, Vermont, responsible for maintaining Metrology and CFM manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities
Maintain CFM / Metrology equipment
Work with part planners to maintain and add spare parts for tools as needed
Provide second-level support for CFM / Metrology equipment interfacing as needed with outside vendors
Maintain Vendor Maintenance agreements
Provide Tool Status and coordinate planned maintenance as needed for capacity
Interface with other fab modules and other groups as needed
Maintain inventory for critical parts to ensure sufficient quantities on hand
Work with the third-party vendors/suppliers to enable continued tool support
Setup repair paths as needed to ensure continued part support and reduce support costs
Create requisitions for the above, working with purchasing
Drive tool installs/relocations as needed
Assist with tool sourcing/fleet upgrades as needed
Create requisitions and follow up on POs for supplies as needed
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Qualification
Required
Education – Graduating with a bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field from an accredited degree program
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred
Prior related internship or co-op experience
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Basic understanding of electronic knowledge such as voltage, current, resistance, capacitance
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a globally matrixed team or environment
Aggressive learner and a strong team player, multitasking, on-time delivery of assigned work
