They are seeking a Junior Portfolio Manager / Junior Trader to manage and optimize a portfolio of US Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), develop strategies, and collaborate across teams to drive innovation in renewable energy.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies for US REC markets, including pricing, risk assessment, and market analysis
Manage and optimize a portfolio of REC contracts, ensuring alignment with commercial and risk objectives
Collaborate with originators to structure and price long-term offtake agreements and bespoke REC solutions
Monitor regulatory developments and market trends to inform strategy and identify opportunities
Work with cross-functional teams to manage risks and identify synergies with power and renewable portfolios
Enhance portfolio management tools and contribute to valuation and risk infrastructure development
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in environmental markets, with a focus on RECs and portfolio management
Strong understanding of US REC markets and Renewable Portfolio Standards
Quantitative (Python, SQL, Excel) and analytical skills with experience in structured environmental contracts
Familiarity with risk management and trading strategies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and attention to detail
