Central Planning Manager
Sonaca North America is a leading provider of aerospace and defense solutions, dedicated to making air and space travel safe and sustainable. The Central Planning Manager will oversee the Sales & Operations process and Master Production Scheduling across multiple sites, ensuring accurate and feasible schedules while supporting manufacturing throughput and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Implementation and Management of the Sales & Operations Process
Development of the master schedule to be in line with the customer demand, in close collaboration with Program Management and Operations
Implement and monitor the Capacity review cycle with site production control managers
Perform schedule risk analysis, provide results to internal/external customer and facilitate recommended improvement activities
Monitoring of production control metrics
Train Production Control teams on SIOP, MRP & kanban methodologies
Development of the demand flow of new programs/processes/transfers of work as required, in close collaboration with Program Management
Participate in special projects or perform special tasks as identified by management
Manage Transfer of Work projects
Provide leadership necessary to integrate change and risk management
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in business administration or industrial engineering or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
A minimum of five (5) years production scheduling or supply chain management experience
Aerospace industry experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Expert experience with an ERP system is required
Employee must have the ability to understand manufacturing processes and associated workflows
Should demonstrate high level of ethics with strong integrity
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and shifting time requirements
Must be able to promote a participative, team-oriented environment, working with customers (both internal and external), subordinates, other employees, vendors and all others in a professional and respectful manner

Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds
Up to 25% travel time
