CNC Machinist II - 1st Shift (onsite)
RTX is a leader in aerospace technology, and they are seeking a CNC Machinist II to join their team. The role involves interpreting blueprints and specifications, performing machining setups, and conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, designs sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements
Apply advanced skills to the development of concepts and techniques
Complete highly complex tasks in creative and effective ways
Consistently work on a variety of highly complex tasks requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve highly complex problems
Make recommendations for new procedures
Take measurements of material and selects appropriate machines for the process
Perform machining setups and makes adjustments as required
Conduct inspections of work produced
Check SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements
Keep records and maintains quality/safety standards
Qualification
Required
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
