Quality Supervisor, Columbus Forge Disks -2nd Shift (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of employees by driving a "safety-first" culture
Enable the inspection team by providing training and development; leading a team that is empowered to make decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives
Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to establish and implement improvements
Investigate new and improved methods of inspection that can be used to improve efficiency and reduce cost
Promote transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business objectives
Collaborate with the quality engineering and manufacturing engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities; lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or closely related field or an Associate's degree and 4 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or closely related field
In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with 6 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or closely related field
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Prior experience in a team lead/supervisory capacity
Experience with SAP and Solumina
Demonstrated experience with Continuous improvement/Lean concepts
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection
Prior experience in Engineering/Production, Quality Engineering, CMM Quality, CNC Machining, or Quality Inspection
