Electro-Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

Maintaining Calibration of Test Equipment used by NATO Seasparrow
Shipping documentation and receiving material in and out of the LBTS
GFE inventory with the property control personnel
Quality Audits
Interface with Facilities, Security, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Leadership
Scheduling & contracting outside crane work & site work
Coordination with Facilities regarding infrastructure work at the LBTS (electrical, plumbing & site work)
Travel CONUS/OCONUS, approximately 20%

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with Naval Shipboard Combat Systems and Radars. Preferably MK57 NATO Seasparrow Surface Missile System or MK99 AEGIS

Preferred

A minimum of 6 years' experience with US Navy Combat Systems
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related science degree, or US Navy E4 through E9
Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) safety
Must be a self-starter with the ability to align priorities appropriately
