Aircraft Engine Mechanic

Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair gas turbine engine modules and components
Perform complete engine teardown, inspection, repair, and reassembly with accuracy and attention to detail
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals to determine proper operating conditions
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and uphold quality standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Follow all company safety policies and applicable aviation regulations
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO operations), including full engine teardown and rebuild
Experience with small, medium, or large fan engines (large engines preferred)
Proficiency in engine induction, dismantle, and inspection of complex parts
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering data
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred
5–10 years of verifiable MRO experience
Experience with RB211 (RB2) and/or LEAP engines
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) or Powerplant (P) License
Formal apprenticeship or technical training in aircraft engine maintenance
Advanced understanding of maintenance manuals with the ability to support and mentor other mechanics
