Account Specialist, Supply Chain Management(Onsite)

The Account Specialist will manage shop assist suppliers, ensuring an uninterrupted flow of parts to production while meeting quality and delivery requirements, and will serve as the primary point of contact for supplier coordination and improvement actions.

Responsibilities
Supplier relationships: delivery and quality performance, business reviews, underperforming supplier reviews, customer satisfaction
Purchase order execution of value assist suppliers: on time order placement, billing adjustments, negotiation / cost reduction
Delivery assurance: ownership of delivery commitment and execution, output support, risk mitigation, driving recovery plans with communication to internal customers, owning the recovery through Line of Balance (LOB) improvements
Planning: daily interactions with site materials management team and planner for each value assist operation to ensure material flow and setting priorities at the supplier
25-50% travel to supplier sites will be required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related field OR; an Advanced degree (MS/MBA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Working knowledge in SAP/ MS Office
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Experience with P&W procurement systems and standard work
Delivery assurance and risk mitigation experience
CORE experience and analytical/metrics driven approach
