Production Associate I - 2nd Shift (onsite)

Responsibilities

Deburr and finish aluminum parts and possibly machine operation
Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools to include files, hammers, chisels and air tools required
Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions
Responsible for quality product standards with no defects
Ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations
Comply with applicable elements of quality systems
Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required
Participate in audits
Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required
Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition
Comply with all rules and regulations of RTX, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources
Examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required
Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards
Lift and manipulate up to 25 pounds
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
