Responsibilities

Oversee and lead the AI developers and AI lifecycle, from conception to deployment
Coordinate with developers to ensure timely delivery of AI solutions
Manage resources and budgets effectively
Communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders

Qualification

Active TS/SCI ClearancePythonSoftware engineering practicesLarge language modelsAI/ML lifecycle managementProblem-solving skillsCommunication skillsCollaboration skills

Required

Active TS/SCI Clearance w/ Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years' experience with Python and command line
5+ years' experience in software engineering practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration
Experience managing complex projects and meeting deadlines
Experience with large language models (LLMs)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Annapolis, MD

Preferred

Experience leading teams of developers or managing the AI/ML lifecycle from conception to deployment
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python and other foundational languages
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end processes and identify opportunities for automation
Implement best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and processes
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in automation and AI
Familiarity with LLMs and agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic MCP)
Background in cybersecurity-focused AI solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex processes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
