Aircraft Maintenance Technician 1st Shift
CTS Engines is a leading provider of world-class jet engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the removal/installation, cleaning, inspection, repair, and replacement of Power Plant systems components and accessories in accordance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities
Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements
Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments
Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned
Must support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations
Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
Present a clean and neat work area
Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer
Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work overtime, shift work & weekends at short notice
Qualification
Required
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to read, write and understand English as this is a FAA requirement
A valid driver's license
Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints
Must have the ability to multi-task within a team environment
Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs
Possess proven inspection competencies
Must be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and work cards
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations
As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 'Respirator Protection' regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator
Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
Preferred
Power plant license preferred
2 years of experience as a jet engine technician – preferred
Successful candidate will ideally have own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work overtime, shift work & weekends at short notice
