Responsibilities

Conduct Fluorescent Penetrant inspection functions in a manufacturing environment
Perform quality review metallurgical dispositions following procedures as required
Complete classroom theory, OFT and certification examination as required by Pratt & Whitney NDT qualifications
Understand internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings
Responsible for signing-off product inspected
Re-certification required at interval specified by Pratt & Whitney qualifications
Perform daily walk around of equipment, maintain cleanliness of inspection area and be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues
Must be able to obtain NDT Certification within designated timeframe as required by Pratt & Whitney NDT qualifications
Must be willing to work any shift, including an alternate work week. Overtime may be required

Required

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred

2-year technical degree in a Non-Destructive Testing program OR Level II Certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
In absence of a technical degree, 4 years of work experience in Non-Destructive inspection
Experience in a quality/aerospace manufacturing environment
Knowledge FPI Inspection systems
Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience following quality procedures
