Responsibilities
Operate Nieland 1000 Ton Shipbuilding Press, forming plates to match templates
Operate 500T Accupress Press Brake
Ability to prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations
Understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part
Thorough understanding of flat pattern layout
Operate overhead crane
Safely and efficiently operate standard metal working hand tools ie grinders, plasma cutters, measurement tools, torches, ect
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3)
Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
Must have attention to detail and decision-making skills
Must have organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Must have computer literacy
Preferred
Previous metals industries experience
Previous Press brake operation experience desirable
Welding and Press Brake experience is preferred
Ability to bump form is a plus
