Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities
Assemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies, including motors, sensors, harnesses, and printed circuit boards, for stabilized gimbal systems
Route and secure cabling, harnesses, and connectors per wiring diagrams and standard work procedures
Use precision tools such as torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, and crimpers to meet mechanical tolerances and electrical connection standards
Conduct in-process quality checks and final assembly verification to ensure functionality and alignment
Follow all ESD, FOD, and cleanroom procedures to maintain high-quality standards
Accurately document build steps, deviations, and completed work in ERP or traveler systems (e.g., NetSuite, paper traveler)
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and quality assurance to resolve build issues or process improvements
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience with documenting and detailing work
Ability to work under magnification and maintain fine motor control
Basic understanding of ESD control and clean manufacturing practices
Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent team skills and team-oriented
Excellent time management skills and meets deadlines
Flexible; able to multi-task in response to time-sensitive and changing situations
